Well I thought Id start a thread to see who's getting what by putting all the games I'm hoping to get (also hope Mrs O reads this and takes pity on me Love you baby )

So here goes.
Homefront being released 17/03/11
Crysis 2 being released 24/03/11
Operation Flashpoint Red River being released 21/04/11
Battlefield 3 being released 30/04/11
Duke Nukem being released (NEVER) 06/05/11
Brink being released 19/05/11
Fear 3 being released 25/05/11
Deus EX being released 31/08/11

All the dates were gotten from http://www.game.com.au/

This store is usually cheaper than EB and they have always had my games on my door step the day of release.

So Post up and lets see what everyone is goin to be purchasing

Battlefield 3!?!?! holly shit that came out quick! They were only just talking about rumours of the game about 2 months ago not even officially announcing it and now it's going to be ready next month? awesome!!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution looks bloody amazing still tbc date but it'll probably be a few months i rekon

feast your eyes, lots of 3rd installments to come out this year, and plenty of quality in this list

08.03-Dragon Age II (high hopes, number 1 was excellent, bioware ftw)
10.03-Homefront (not sure about this one)
22.03-Crysis 2 (should look good....if you have the right hardware)
19.04-Portal 2 (original portal mini game was awesome, i have high hopes for this full game)

ac:brotherhood (not sure about this)

Deus ex human revolution
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (earlier versions of GR are fabulous, high hopes)
Fear 3 (1st 2 were good, this will be good)
Star Wars: The Old Republic (dunno, never been into MMORPG, bioware ftw)
red faction armageddon (RF guerilla was rad, this should be good)
Diablo 3 (awesome, nuff said)
Max Payne 3 (1st 2 were good)

Battlefield 3 (more vehicle dominated gameplay, will be fun for a month or 2. I've never enjoyed the Battlefield games without vehicles)

Mass Effect 3 (ME2 was heaps of fun and had one of the best stories and graphics to go with it, high hopes, bioware ftw)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (oblivion was epic, this should be too, once again bioware ftw)

BF3 (Sniperfield 3) would want to be completely different to BC2. I don't hold much hope for my interest. Won't buy unless radical changes were made!!

dawn of war 2: retribution (dw2 and dw2;choas rising were good fun, i didn't know there was a 2nd expansion, into this for sure)

NFS-Shift 2 (shift was rad, i got NFS hot pursuit and i was laggy as and even with graphics turned up the AA looked terrible so i never played it :S)

I bought my 360 specificly for Forza2/3
and Grid 2 is rumoured to be 2011/12 because of there commitment to Dirt 3.
IMO codemasters is the only company that has the ability to have numerous projects with jeopardizing the final product. There games always turn out good

Diablo 3

Star Wars: The Old Republic.. if you loved Knights of the Old Republic, this game will take over your life.. Bioware are touting this as a game that is bigger than all of their games.. COMBINED!! also, it is a FULL-VOICE mmo, which means every single character you interact with in the game, has original voice dialog.. all missions given are given by someone actually talking to you, not you reading a raft of text and clicking accept mission

When I get used to playing those other new games I mentioned I might step up and get a couple of others like
Homefront
and maybe B3 but I'll probably go back to Cod5

oh i forgot Portal 2 and Doom 4
