My New Driving Simulator Build Up
Hi Guys,
For those of you that are interested you can see me here building up my driving sim rig, and at the end of you see the end result me driving a lap of silverstone.
Oh and by the way I wrote the background music as well, so Bad_Drugs have a listen and see what you think?
Hope you enjoy.

I'm drooling. What a setup! I've got a bit of work to do with my rig after seeing that. Won't be modding but love the set and wheel arrangement.

Wow wee! That is so crazy! I'm absolutely gobsmacked! It's amazing to see what you can build yourself. That setup is just utterly incredible. From your skill racing around your track, I can already see you're an expert at that game. What game is it out of interest?

Re: My New Driving Simulator Build Up
Well it is more of simulator than a game, it is quite old actually and now a lot of F1 team use software from the same company for teams to practice the tracks and do a lot of preliminary car set ups.
It is called rFactor, there is an rFactor2 coming soon.

Re: My New Driving Simulator Build Up
hey guys just added triple 28" monitors instead of the single 40" tv and is much better for all round vision and getting the right perspective.
Re: My New Driving Simulator Build Up
Ok, my left kidney is now on sale, not for cash, just 3 monitors, a new graphics card.....oh what the hell, a whole new computer. Nice job Toey. Fanatical would be I think an understatement.

Re: My New Driving Simulator Build Up
wow, i missed this post when i was mia, that wheel looks like real f1 wheel. I remember f1 commentators saying the real life f1 wheels cost 30k, so how much did this sim wheel cost to build?

Re: My New Driving Simulator Build Up
Total costs was
USD $140 for the G25
USD $10 for the Nixim Brake Mod
USD $120 for the ARC G25-E Force Feedback electronic enhancements
USD $1000 for the ARC F1 Wheel Kit
But I have to say for it was worth every penny as the experience when driving is amazing.
