Congo Racing 2011 Championship
Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know about our new Championship.
Congo Racing 2011 Championship
Free Entry
Live Streaming of the Race will be broadcast on the internet for people to watch
Championship derived from the rFactor F1 2006 CTDP MOD, 11 Teams with very similar Physics and Performance.
This is a Championship that Tests the drivers Car Setup Abilities and Driving skills
Handpicked 18 Tracks based on but not exactly the same as F1 2006 season
Earn $5 USD cash for every point earned
Point system is similar to the F1 2006 season
Points
Win = 10 points = $50 USD
2nd = 8 points = $40 USD
3rd = 6 points = $30 USD
4th = 5 points = $25 USD
5th = 4 points = $20 USD
6th = 3 points = $15 USD
7th = 2 points = $10 USD
8th = 1 point = $5 USD
No finish no points, so avoid collisions at all costs
Bonus Cash Prizes
Championship Winner gets a bonus $300 USD
(Driver with the highest total points at the end of the last race of the season out of the drivers that have participated in every race)
Championship Runner Up gets a bonus $200 USD
(Driver with the second highest points at the end of the last race of the season out of the drivers that have participated in every race)
Championship Second Runner Up gets a bonus $100 USD
(Driver with the third highest points at the end of the last race of the season out of the drivers that have participated in every race)
All Prize money will be paid at the end of the season using Paypal, so all that enter need to have an active Paypal account.
22 Driving Seats up for grabs, everyone is welcome to apply,
If we get more that 22 drivers apply, then driving Seats will be decided by Congo Racing, following the selection process below.
Drivers ability to race well with others (Will be evaluated during practice sessions)
Driver Character (Will have interview)
Commitment for the Season (Must be able to commit to whole the Championship season)
Final a drive off (a short race to decide the final 22 places)
Race day based on Chinese Local time.
Practice at 11:00 - 13:30
Qualifying (15 Laps, 30 Minutes) 13:30
Race Pit lane opens for formation at 14:00
Races are full length maximum time of 2 hours.
All Qualifying, Races, disputes and incidents will be managed and judged by Congo Racing, we will listen to all concerned but the final judgment will be Congo Racing's and once the judgment has been made it is final and non-disputable.

Damn it I got to get me a racing wheel and the software to at least give it a try....
won't know if I like it or not until I try it so.... grrrr

recommend the Logitech G27, it is probably the best affordable one out there

Have to recommend it highly but it's not for the faint hearted. Having the 3 leagues is great as all abilities can get a go but it is much harder than I could have imagined. Still it's quite a buzz just to finish a race let alone win one. Read up suit up and get fit cause after 1 hour + in the seat you might loose a few pounds.

After chatting with Jack (English), we have decided that it would probably be better to rename the Congo_Racing to DnD_Racing, and we think we should move the current Congo_Racing website to be a section of the new DnD Website. What do you guys think?
